Raven is the driving force in the team, very popular amongst his fellow dogs and can be relied on to set a fast pace.
His mother, Vega, tragically passed away a couple of months ago and will be sorely missed. She was an integral part of the team and Raven has inherited his mother’s steely determination. Very cautious when traveling on thin ice. |

Zorro is easily confused with his brother Raven – the difference being that Zorro is a poor lead dog, with little sense of direction.
He has a strong “husky” build and is an honest, hard worker. |

| Denali is the only bitch on the team and is much smaller than the other dogs. This doesn’t mean that she has less power though. She can be a bit of a flirt and is easily distracted, often going off-course to investigate things that arouse her curiosity. Always at the front of the pack supporting the lead dog, Denali motivates the team with her unfailing drive and never-quit attitude. |

| Named after another of Peary’s polar party, Seegloo is a tall, handsome dog and a powerful puller. Although new to the team, he already has the confidence to stand his ground in a confrontation and has successfully gained the respect of the pack. He will need to play his politics carefully if he wishes to be the next boss dog. |

| Ootah is named after one of the four Inuit men who went to the North Pole with Peary. He eats unimaginable quantities of food and is a giant. His grandfather went to the Pole in 2000. Ootah’s powerful physique and ability to get the sled moving make him a vital part of the team. Ootah is an affable 6½-stone fur-ball and everyone’s favorite dog. |

| K2 is Denali’s big brother. He’s a handsome dog but behaves like a troublesome teenager and is always getting into fights. K2 is very career-driven and determined to move up the pack hierarchy. |

| Ikki (the Inuit word for cold) was recruited from another team in early 2005. He’s still getting to know his teammates and is occasionally roughed up by the bigger dogs in the pack. But he can hold his own and despite his slight physique, he pulls as hard as anyone. |

| Marvin is Bartlett’s brother and also new to the team. A friendly dog, he just likes to get on with things and keep out of trouble. Marvin is named after one of Peary’s men, who, after leading a support party to within 200 miles of the Pole, died on his return to the ship after falling through the ice. |
